There is a celebration of life for Pat Greaser December 19 2025 At the Bonita Golf Clubhouse 5540 Sweetwater Road Bonita CA from noon to 5 PM.

 

Pat was a regular at Bonita Donuts every Saturtday with her Red 1947 Chevrolet Aero Sedan. Pat’s husband Leonard Greaser built the 1947 Aerosedan for Pat because it was the car they had when they married.  Leonard was a car guy his whole life building many great hot rods that were true road cars, Leonard and Pat drove their cars to Hot August Nights in Yuma Arizona several times, Pat in her ’47 and Leonard in his latest build, the last car that Leonard built was a 1954 Bel-Air Hardtop a show stopper with a McLaren Big Block 389cu.in.450HP.

 

The Greaser family has lived in the East county for over one hundred years, they were known and loved by many, attendance to the celebration of life by friends with hot rods woud be appreciated by the family

OBITUARY

The beloved Pat Greaser (Norman) passed away peacefully in the comfort of her home after living a joyous and faithful life of 92 years.

She was born to Chet and Idell Norman (Chapel) of Chula Vista. There she grew up with her older sister Jeri, and attended F Street Elementary, Chula Vista Junior High and graduated from Chula Vista High School in 1952. In December 1952, she wed her sweetheart, Leonard Greaser of National City. Together they built their family home in Bonita where they raised their three daughters.

Pat was a loyal pillar in her Sunnyside community and an admired friend to many. She enjoyed holidays and celebrations spent with her family, traveling far and wide with Leonard and their cherished circle of friends, and hobbies with the gals such as bowling and golfing.

Pat is lovingly remembered by her daughters, Nancy Savoy (Mike), Patti Basile (Bob), Sherry Engen (Bruce), six grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and six great- great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, please consider donating in her memory to the Salvation Army or your local Humane Society.

All who knew her are invited to the Bonita Golf Course, Friday December 19th, 2025, from noon to 5pm for her Celebration of Life.
